Apple Pro Training Series - Xsan, Quick-Reference Guide, Second Edition: A Comprehensive Guide to Xsan Setup and Administration by Adam Green and Mathew Geller hows us through a number of lessons and lots of full-color pictures what Xsan is all about a dhow to put that technology to good use.

There are11 chapters called “Lessons” on what a SAN is, what equipment is required, topologies of RAID configurations, how storage is created,  and how a metadata controller is used, how clients work with Xsan systems an dhow Fibre Channeling us used. The re I seven a chapter on Xsan Administrative configuration and another on how to use the command line. Finally, there is a chapter on troubleshooting. Included is a Glossary and Index.

I’ve been through the Apple Sales training on Xsan, but this book definitely adds to the experience and is a welcome addition to the Apple Pro Training Series.
