This book is about making Windows more user-friendly. Everyone knows Windows is full of annoying bugs and problems. ThatÕs probably one of the reasons most of us are Mac users. However, some of us may still have to deal with Windows at work, or in other situations. That is where this book comes in handy.
In the bookÕs 239 pages, Karp talks about how to fix some of the problems in Windows XP and how to reveal some of the hidden feature of the OS. In short, this book is designed to make Windows more like a Mac. The book is very easy to understand and relatively inexpensive. This is a good purchase for anyone who hates Windows, but is forced to use it.
If you are a casual Windows user, there may be several helpful tips in this book. However, if you are an experienced Windows power user, you probably already know a lot of the tips in the book, and if you are a hard-core Mac userÉ you probably donÕt care. This book tells a lot about how to fix the annoying parts of Windows XP, but the easiest way to fix Windows XPÕs annoyances permanentlyÉ is to become a Mac user.
