Digital photography has become very popular since the market has exploded with new products, camera and more. This book is a truly All-in-One, packed with a great wealth of information for novice to advanced users who want to learn about digital SLR (Single Reflex) cameras, Photoshop and much more.

The five sections are: ÒDigital SLR cameraÓ, ÒDigital PhotographÓ, ÒDigital NegativeÓ, ÒWorking with Photos in Photoshop CS2Ó, and ÒPreserving PixelsÓ. Within these five parts of the book covering 449 pages, are valuable tips, information on the web, technical information, and warnings to heed along the way and valuable insights to remember.

The author is  a Photoshop author, columnist and commercial photographist. This book shows that he not only knows the digital oriented subjects in the book and regarding the title but he also writes the book in a Macintosh-friendly manner, but also is good for PC people.

The book covers a great range of these topics also highlighted blue, in-depth and with understanding for novice, intermediate and advanced users. Within the chapters are superb color photos, illustrations, screenshots, and pull down menu snapped pictures involving Photoshop. Going one step further are the red circles and red arrows, which highlight more specifically what the tutorial is communicating about regarding the tasks, and activities ideas. Special icons on the pages target tips, warnings to know things to remember and technical information.

This all in one book has five sections that are all excellent to read and learn. The detailed and well-written tutorials will usher you into the digital world, in more ways than one. The price is right, not only for the magnificent job that the author has done in writing the book, but also how he communicates all the Òsums of the wholeÓ. Buy it, learn more about the digital world and find out why this book is one I rate as a best buy, especially for digital novice and intermediate users.  It will be a resource for you for a long time to come.
