This book can be bought for less than a buck from Amazon.com. There are over 222 of them out there for resale, last time I looked.
The premise is that you don’t have to accept mediocrity or bow to the wishes and demands of others who do not wish you to succeed in life, but rather be insanely miserable like they are.
This is such a saccharine-sweet “believe in your dreams and act on them” kind of book, that you just have to go out and get one for the holidays!
It is all just a matter of redirecting your thought-processes so accentuate the positive and avoid the negative. Remember this was published close to 50 years ago.
If you can get past the occasional annual salary guffaws, this book still packs a punch and points us in the right direction with a no-holds-barred approach to feeling good about yourself and believing that you can succeed if you really want to. And each chapter ends with a summary section and action items.
Think about it – no more excusitis, no more fear, go first class, make attitudes your allies, turn defeat into victory and learn how to let goals help us grow into thinking like leaders.
So go get an attitude adjustment on the cheap. Who knows, it really could turn defeat into victory. It is all a matter of thinking positive and this book shows us how.
